21 Caring Cat Children Who Actually Helped their Pawrents with Something

It is rare to hear about a cat child moving a muscle to make their pawrents' lives any easier but in this cute collection we actually come upon several sweet cat children who have done just that.

After all, cats are known for laziness, their love of ignoring hoomans and most of all their love of making our lives just that little bit tougher. It is one of the most classically cat qualities that we have come across and one that we truly find ourselves wondering as to whether a cat would even live without it. But this list of lovely feline fur babies stands to disprove that notion making it more of the exception rather than the rule.

Thanks to the several cattos who have stepped up to help their pawrents and improve their lives we have proof that cats can be good and kind and caring. We do not know specifically why things have ended up this way, how these cats came to love and help their pawrents. But we do know that it is now a feasible reality and we can all hope that somehow someday our cat children will take pity on us and help us as well.

    He was screaming to alert us that the faucet had been turned on and it was flooding our bathroom.... He was also the one who turned on the faucet so I don't know if it really counts....

    Love kitties so much! One time my alarm was not set, did not go off, or I accidentally turned it off. I can't remember. One of them was bugging me (they do that quite often), and woke me up. Was NOT late for work!

    What lucky pawrents, cats that care about your mental state and the state of rodents in your home.

    Through my dr n my kitties were so helpful. We also live on a big land (old house that we flip) and they catch all the mice!!!! Good babies!

    Is this an angel or actually a cat?

    This little one makes sure I don't get cold during the night by curling up between my legs. She will also keep you company while sick, following you around and sitting with you no matter where you are.

    Technically she is still organizing and centralizing the location of the family pens.

    I Steal pens. Pepper rounds up all the pens and puts them under the rug where they will be safe. (LOL...sorry, I posted this the other day but it seemed perfect for this response).

    While the geckos are a shame, at least they aren’t this predator’s sole interest.

    My cat has caught 3 centipedes in the last two weeks. They are poisonous, evil b Is. And my kitty is the protector. He catches geckos too.

    We would have been totally unsurprised if the cat sat in front of the flames and watched the whole house comes down.

    My cat saved my life! I left a pan with oil on the stove and didn't turn the burner all the way off. I fell asleep shortly after and my cat woke me up meowing like crazy and climbing on me. Huge flames were shooting up out of the pan! If my cat hadn't woken me up the kitchen would absolutely have caught on fire.

    Who knew that mulch could get any more useful than it already was?

    Mulch is helpful in several ways! He's an expert moth kr (only one allowed to rip holes in my clothing is him apparently) and a very timely fellow. He makes sure I get up on time and go to bed promptly at 10 pm. He's also a professional cuddler and helps with my ar .y.

    these two tag-teamed a garter snake that managed to get inside of the house, where it eventually met its demise. we found the snake dd in the living room bc they were playing with it!

    As long as Chia stays top side she can claw out whatever she wants from our vents.

    Chia helps me clean out the vents every winter before we turn on the furnace. She claws out all the lost cat toys, q-tips, spider webs, etc.

    A cat who knows the value in puzzles and will never let you finish one so that you never cease to enjoy its simple pleasures.

    She likes to sit on my puzzle, and the second I tried to get her off, she sprawled out for some pets, effectively ruining my puzzle lol

    This kinda feels like only half a job done while expecting full pay…

    This one right here will I flies for me and set them on the ground so I can pick it up with a napkin and throw them out. He also makes sure I wake up to my alarms going off by meowing VERY loud.
